Kelly holds a B.S. Degree In Economics from Santa Clara University.

Kelly has served in several senior executive positions in mid-sized Silicon Valley companies. He is a technology industry veteran, with more than 26 years of experience working in numerous executive leadership roles, from software startups to billion-dollar technology companies. His experience includes a particular focus on rapid growth organizations.

  • January 1992 to July 1993, SVP and CFO of Cadence Design Systems
  • From September 1993 to December 1995, EVP and CFO of Frame Technology
  • March 1996 to March 1998, EVP and CFO of Cirrus Logic and later as COO.
  • July 1998 to December 2000, Pres. and CEO of Blaze Advisor (formerly, Blaze Software Inc.).
  • January 2001 to ?, CEO of BlueStar Solutions, Inc. (since acquire by ACS (then as CEO of ACS)
  • September 10, 2003 to ?, Director of FEI Co.
  • From September 2004 to December 2005, Mr. Kelly served as Entrepreneur in Residence at Trident Capital Inc. Same time: he was associated with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners as an Entrepreneur in Residence.

Kelly served as Director of Transware Plc from March to September 2005. He served as Director of Epicor Software Corporation from January 2000 to January 2009. He served as a Director of Blaze Advisor since July 1998. He served as Director of ACS Application Management Services Inc. and Sendmail Inc.

Kelly has an established reputation of leadership in a wide range of executive management roles, from strategic business development to sales and operations, for national and international companies. During his career, he has managed both emerging growth and multi-billion dollar organizations. Kelly also held senior executive management positions with Valid Logic, Analog Design Tools, Softlink Corp. and Quanta Ray Corp. He serves as a Director on the ASP Leadership Board of ITAA, and serves on the Boards of Nuera Communications. He is also on the Board of Fellows at Santa Clara University and is involved with many affiliations in the technology industry and in community services.
