Palo Alto Prep School offers a unique high school environment and is located in Palo Alto. The school gives students the opportunity to work in a smaller group of students and encourages the individual potential and talents of each student. Palo Alto Prep aims to build strong self esteem through encouragement and reinforcement of success. The student/teacher ratio is eight to one.

According to its Web site, Palo Alto Prep operates on two key assumptions: Teenagers want to feel good about themselves, and teenagers want to enjoy school.
