Lynne Johnson

Lynne Johnson was Chief of Police of Palo Alto from 2003 to 2008.

Career in law enforcement

Johnson spent her entire career in law enforcement with Palo Alto Police force, starting in 1975. She steadily moved up the ranks to Assistant Chief and then to Chief.

Johnson resigned from the force in November 2008.

In 2009, the City acknowledged her long career of service and the proper leadership she displayed in having dashboard video cameras installed in all police cruisers.[1]
