Frank S. Greene
From Palo Alto Wiki
Frank S. Greene was a pioneering Silicon Valley technologist. He died unexpectedly Saturday at El Camino Hospital on December 26, 2009.[1] He had lived in Sunnyvale. He had been an inductee into the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame (SVEC).
In 1999, Greene along with Roy L. Clay Sr., created an exhibition, "Soul of Technology: 50 Most Important African-Americans in Technology," celebrating the engineering accomplishments of African-Americans. He brought the exhibition to Palo Alto in 2009, partially in response to the events surrounding Lynne Johnson's retirement.[2]
