College Terrace Library
From Palo Alto Wiki
The College Terrace Library is one of five Palo Alto libraries. It is the samllest branch of the system, totaling 2,392 square feet. The library is located at 2300 Wellesley Avenue, 94306. A librarian can be reached at 329-2436.
It has been subject to criticism in the current debate over the library branch system due to its small book circulation and size. Critics point out that rather than helping the library system, it is a hindrance. It is costly to maintain, but does not provide an adequate number of resources. Locals argue that though it is small, it allows many people to have access to a library without having to drive far.
College Terrace has also always sparked community debate whenver the city had a strained budget.
